If you are a fan of the taste of oats then this is the stout for you. No seriously, it has one of the strongest oat tastes that we have ever tasted in a beer. The taste lingers in your mouth up to 10-20 seconds after you've taken a drink. In that prolonged aftertaste you can really appreciate the roasty nature of the brew too. There are some far more subtle but still very noticeable sweeter notes; it tastes like natural molasses or syrup to us. Overall an extremely smooth and tasty beer if you're a fan of this style.
