Unlike a lot of the other stouts from the Saugatuck lineup, don't expect any sweetness or specialty flavors. This is a quintessential coffee driven stout with some roasty and malt flavors. Some Lizards noted a nutty, perhaps hazelnut, flavor. This beer was very well liked across the table and considered a rather exceptional stout
